Cross Electrical Services completed the cleanroom CEA 04 project in 2024/2025 in Boston Scientific, Clonmel.

The project was the construction of a new cleanroom in the existing building, Cross Electrical Services completed the full electrical strip out prior to construction works and completed the full electrical installation of the new space, link corridor and new reception area.
The scope of works included:
Removal of the existing internal circulation corridor to accommodate the new CEA4 ISO 8 (Class 100,000) cleanroom – approximately 1,200m²
A new external circulation route to replace the displaced corridor
A purpose-built employee entrance and security office
The Electrical systems installed and fully commissioned are as follows –
- LV Distribution
- ICT
- Security – Access Control, Intercom & CCTV
- Fire Alarm
- Emergency Lighting
- Disabled Toilet alarm system
- Gas Monitoring & Detection system
