Adamstown Water Treatment Plant is a vital Uisce Éireann facility serving communities across County Waterford. As part of a major capital investment to improve resilience, water quality and operational efficiency in the south-east of Ireland, the plant is currently undergoing significant upgrades.
Working with main contractor, Glanua, Cross Electrical Services was brought on as the water treatment plant electrical contractor responsible for delivering the complete EI package and integrating new systems with the existing plant infrastructure. The project involves works including:
Upgrade and Repair of Aged Sand Filters, Including Individual Filter Media, Controls and Automation of Processes
Construction of New Wash Water Management Facility
Construction of New Clear Water Tank with Adequate Capacity for Filter Backwash, Including All Ancillary Equipment
Upgrade of Monitoring and Instrumentation System
Upgrading of Plant Control, Telemetry and Automation
Cross Electrical Services is delivering the full water treatment electrical installation together with the networking required to connect seamlessly with the operational facility.
